Divorce Forensics
Going through a divorce can be a traumatic experience. Some marriages may end with both sides agreeing to a mutual settlement But sometimes, the financial issues involve the need for in-depth investigation to identify all marital assets and to structure tax-friendly settlements. Further, one spouse may need to be coached on how to manage finances, having not been involved with those matters during the marriage.
We are experts in sorting out the family’s financial information, from calculating disposable income available for child support and/or alimony to identifying hidden assets and total marital property available for equitable distribution. We can also assist a business valuator by investigating a company’s books and records to determine true net income to be used in the valuation report
Further, we are available to testify and to present expert-level evidence that can be used in court.
